Your personal data is mainly processed by us to provide you with a perfect holiday / stay. We are happy to build a lasting relationship with you, so that we can also be of service to you in the future and can make you offers based on your interests or reservation history.

MAKING A RESERVATION
When you make a reservation for one of the accommodations offered by us, we register the data of you as necessary to make the accommodation available to you as standard. We offer the accommodations ourselves for rent, but are also offered by our partners. In the event that you make a reservation through one of our partners, this privacy statement applies just as well. We will remind you of this again as soon as we have received your data, unless it would require a disproportionate amount of effort to inform you if the information should remain confidential.

RESERVATION INFORMATION
Reservation data is information about the holiday / stay that you have booked with us, for example the type of accommodation, arrival date, departure date, travel group and preferences. To make your reservation in order, we register this data in our reservation system.

NAME AND ADDRESS DATA
We need your name and address data in order to be able to register your reservation in our reservation system and for registration in the mandatory night register, but also, for example, to be able to meet the obligation to make a tourist tax declaration. INSURANCE(S)
La France Rentals offers you the possibility to book cancellation insurance for the stay. We do this in collaboration with Europeesche Verzekeringen. Europeesche Verzekeringen is ultimately the party with whom you take out insurance, which is why we transfer your data to this party for taking out the insurance.

IMPROVE SERVICE
Your opinion is important to us. We are very curious about how you experienced making your reservation and the subsequent stay. You will therefore find an assessment form in the accommodation you rented. We use your assessment of your stay internally to improve our services.

DATA WE RECEIVED FROM THIRD PARTIES
Sometimes we do not receive data directly from you, but from another party. For example, when you make a booking for one of our accommodations through a partner of ours, this partner forwards certain data from you to us. This way we can register and process your booking. Our partners can also pass on questions or changes regarding your booking or stay to us. If reasonably possible, we will inform you of the receipt of your data. All information we receive from third parties can be combined with information provided by you.

WHAT ARE THE PRINCIPLES?
When processing your personal data, we adhere to the rules of the General Data Protection Regulation. Therefore, there is always a basis for the processing of your personal data. Your data is mainly processed when making a reservation. We need this information for the implementation of the agreement between you and La France Rentals. The same applies if you wish to take out insurance through us. If you do not provide the required personal data to us, you cannot use our services. For the processing of your data in the context of improving our services, our marketing activities and contact moments with our back office, there is a legitimate interest of La France Rentals. We have carefully considered your interests and those of the organization. Processing a number of your data is also necessary to be able to comply with a legal obligation. For example, we are required by law to register a number of your details in the night register. If we want to know more information about you, we will always ask for your permission.

TO WHICH PARTIES DO WE TRANSFER YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?
For the parks that we manage ourselves, we are required to register your name, place of residence, arrival and departure date in the night register. The municipality can ask us to provide the data from the night register. In connection with the mandatory tourist tax declaration, we also provide your municipality with your zip code, city, date of birth, family composition, arrival date and departure date each year. After making a reservation, we will pass on your details to the park where you will be staying, so that the staff of the park can welcome you well prepared. We may be responsible for the exploitation of the park itself, but it may also be that the exploitation of a park is in the hands of a third party. However, we only pass on those personal data that are necessary for the implementation of the agreement. The same applies if you make a reservation with us for accommodation offered by one of our partners.

We use third-party services, such as IT suppliers, to manage our systems and deliver our services. We ensure that these third parties handle your data correctly, if and insofar as they can see it. When you take out insurance through La France Rentals, the necessary information for taking out the insurance is passed on to Europeesche Verzekeringen.

This is the party that ultimately takes out the insurance with you and will also assess any claims for damages. For showing targeted advertisements on Facebook, your e-mail address can be passed on to Facebook.

In the unlikely event that you do not pay your invoices in time, we are forced to hand over the claim to a collection agency or a bailiff. The data necessary to collect the claim from you will be passed on to the collection agency or the bailiff.

HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR DATA?
We will not store your data for longer than necessary to achieve the objectives set out in this privacy statement, unless we have to store the data for a longer period on the basis of a legal obligation. Our goal is to build a lasting relationship with you. Your data will be made anonymous once this relationship has ended. Contact moments with our back office are deleted within one year after the contact time, unless the content of the messages may be important for your reservation or any future bookings.

HOW ARE YOUR PERSONAL DATA PROTECTED?
La France Rentals has taken technical and organizational security measures to protect your data against loss or unauthorized use, such as unauthorized access to data. This takes into account the state of the art and the costs of implementation so that we guarantee an appropriate level of security in view of the risks involved in the processing and the nature of the data to be protected. Our policy is aimed at ensuring that only those employees have access to your personal data who actually need access for the performance of their duties.
